Firstly, you don’t have to read this. I didn’t type this to wage an argument or gain likes. My goal here, in this miniscule comment is to send a message to all of those willing to listen (or read). I am merely a young adolescent trying to make my way in this galaxy.

What Star Wars is to me:

▪The beginning of a new era for ingenious creation “Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.”

▪The rise of characters beloved and feared in “Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of The Clones.”

▪An unexpected but enjoyable perspective flip from hero to villain in “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of The Sith.”

▪Classic and original tale that kickstarted the entire franchise into success “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.”

▪Pivotal moment in cinema history, where truths unfold in “Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.”

▪Where a cumulative journey settles after a battle between the ultimate light and dark of “Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of The Jedi.”

▪Nostalgia being reborn and continued in a vain of action that is held dearly in “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.”

▪A sea of hidden truths, a sort of uncertainty, that presents something new in “Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.”

▪Where simply a story of insignificance can be fleshed out into something prestigious, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

▪Ragtag adventures for misfits even in the deepest parts of the galaxy in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

▪Deeper connections to people that may be different from what they seem, truly a place of redemption and legends in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

▪A tie between two gray areas where a time of knockhard fun and unnecessary banter, “Star Wars: Rebels.”

▪Of course, an installation centered for a more younger audience, but nonetheless a worthy piece filled with corny jokes and hilarious satire, “Star Wars: Resistance.”

▪Wacky and comedal tales of our heroines shone in a different light, “Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.”

▪Adorable fantasies about nearly everyone’s favorite space bears in “Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure” and “Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.”

▪A whimsical skirmish chock full of originality and diversity in “Star Wars: Battlefront” and “Star Wars: Battlefront II.”

▪Immersion at its finest with complete delving of the galaxy far far away…. in the new“Star Wars: Battlefront” and “Star Wars: Battlefront II.”

▪Truly considered as fanservice, an experience like no other where fate mutates into choice in “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” and “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.”

▪A game of pure imagination where the player is stationed as their own fleet commander in “Star Wars: Armada.”

▪Fast-paced and close quarter dogfights of dreamscaping in “Star Wars: X-Wing” and “Star Wars: X-Wing 2nd Edition.”

▪Facing of different personalities where the main focus is cheesy scoundrels in “Star Wars: Lando.”

▪A venture into dark alchemy and deception in “Star Wars: Darth Vader.”

▪Dynamic characters of prestigious capabilities in “Star Wars: Thrawn.”

▪Further legends of a dynamic duo that potentially could be considered the greatest of all time, “Star Wars: Master & Apprentice.”

    Upcoming welcomings to the family:

▪Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order

▪Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series

    ▪The Mandolorian

▪Star Wars: Dooku - Jedi Lost

    ▪Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Ultimately, the message I’m trying to portray is that Star Wars is a magical experience. No matter who created this franchise, who leads it, and who directs it, it will always be Star Wars.

As a fanbase, we are divided, and that’s fine, because everyone can have an opinion. Just because someone liked something, doesn’t mean you should try to indoctrinate your own opinion on theirs.

There is going to be praisal, contentment, acception, dislike, and disgust, but be willing to stay on the same side.

Absorbing more knowledge in this franchise doesn’t make you a “true fan;” it’s the fact that you’ll actually enjoy this content, without ridiculing others.

I understand the claims of how Star Wars isn’t what it used to be, but it really is just all in the perspective. My perspective is clear and positive. Despite some bumpy trails, I’ll never give up on this road.

Truly, Star Wars to me, in my opinion, is just everything it has come to be. Even if I didn’t enjoy one particular piece, it's alright, because I know others have enjoyed it. This list is only the tip of the iceberg. I didn’t account for all of the movies, television shows, video games, books, novelizations, comics, audio books, board games, toys, novelty items, theme parks, parodies, satirical extensions, non-canonized legends, and so much more.

If you made it this far, thank you for your time. Is there a certain Star Wars work that deserves to be on this list? Reply, answer why, and most certainly I’ll put it there. Want to agree or disagree? Go ahead, criticism goes a long way to a better future.

(If I feel like this is actually impactful I’ll copy it to other videos. If you share the same point of view, you are free to use this and alter as necessary to fit your point of view.)

People arnt star wars fatigued. They are SJW piss poor story telling fatigued.
Kathleen Kennedy has completely fucked star wars. As long as they keep her as the head of Lucasfilms, star wars will continue to decline.

You need to watch TLJ several times until it can be seen as good, it's weird.

I admit, I don't like the canto bite scenes and the anti capitalist undertones, as well as the toxic masculinity holdo scene. I'll probably never like those.

That being said, the film has fantastic cinematography and at least it was different, it defied expectations and moved into new territory.

That said, I fully felt how you did when I first saw it, honestly, if you watch it several times you will appreciate it more.

It hasn't ruined star wars, if anything the worst part about it is that we won't get any daring twists in star wars again as it will be seen as too risky.

These remakes have nothing on the feeling you got at the time while sitting watching the original Mad Max, Alien, Blade Runner, Star Wars etc.

                    • Surfing the Multiverse

Star Wars died when the famous line "Luke, I am your father" disappeared from history. Never happened. In this universe Darth Vader said "No, I am your father" NOT LUKE. That never happened in this version of the multiverse. Find the exact quote with Luke. I dare you. And Han Solo? Really? What happened to Hans Solo??? And why does C2po have a silver leg? It is the "Mandela Effect"... changes to reality.

Failed to kill him and allowing the galaxy to fall into darkness.. but yet as an old man he still inspired Luke to go on to he’s hero’s journey... the wall Luke was treated in round heads film is a disgrace.. not watching ep9. It ended at 6.

You're right. The one with Jackie Chan in love with Boomer really sucked. I bet that purple-haired Affirmative Action hire "vice admiral" is in the next one, as well. Geezus, I remember when Laura Dern was heterosexual and hot. The whole movie was flawed. I hadn't seen the previous one, so it was my introduction to Rey(Ray?). Pretty lass. Didn't understand her whorepaint...or what her purpose in the movie was...unless to stimulate male viewers. Lord knows the sullen dames at the controls weren't doing it, and princess Lay-a was too old. The Boomer/Chan romance was about the only plot.

If It wasn't written by George Lucas, it's counterfeit Star Wars, end of story. Star Wars is his baby. The Disney Social Justice Wars are not Star Wars. It wouldn't matter if William Shakespeare sold the rights to Hamlet to Disney, if he himself didn't add to it, it's counterfeit. I don't care what legal document you have in your possession or how much money you shelled out, it's just not authentic.

Damned straight, Star Wars is a dead franchise to most of its long term fans, and we can only effect change with our wallets. Undermining the characters of both Poe and Luke is part of the same "force is female" agenda responsible for Mary Sue Rey and Holdo. Lucasfilm undermined the franchise's male characters to promote a femminist agenda in military sci fi universe nominally targeted at men, and then expressed confusion after the predictable controversy that arose.

Jesus christ, Solo and TLJ weren't that bad. The problem with Hollywood is there in no creativity in it anymore; everything is regurgitated remakes, redux, or screen adaptions. Which makes sense; leftists are NPCs; there are no original ideas in their heads just programmed dogma - not a good recipe for creativity.

3:00 Luke wasn't the only one with powers in the original movies. There was Obiwan, Yoda, Darth Vader, The Emperor. And they explained that the force is everywhere, but Jedi's had been either defeated, or were just gone, except for a few, so knowledge of the force had been lost. So it makes sense that the prequels would have more people with the force. And it makes sense that a bunch of people should be using the force because they explain that it's everywhere, so it should be something that most characters utilize.

The new trilogy is more trying to get us to get excited about new characters and buy more toys and theme park tickets than finishing the Skywalker saga. These movies have almost nothing to do with the Skywalker saga.

Say what you want to about the prequals they were their own story. But the sequal series is an awful reboot.

Far left SJW feminist bullshit killed star wars. Luke's an old white guy, so he's automatically a creepy old weirdo, the new hero is female, so she's automatically superior for no reason at all. All the supporting characters are female or non white or just not really important to the story, and the new villain is a whiny little soy boy. Oh yeah, and Han, the other old white guy, better just kill him off while we're at it. Fuck you disney, you made star wars a racist, sexist pile of garbage.
